Miley Cyrus släpper albumet ”Endless Summer Vacation”
Nu är Miley Cyrus ”Endless Summer Vacation” här, 13 låtar som tillsammans blir hennes åttonde studioalbum.
Nya albumet ”Endless Summer Vacation” innehåller givetvis ”Flowers”, enorma världshiten som bland annat toppat amerikanska Billboardlistan i sex veckor, ett personbästa för Miley. Låten toppar också US Pop Radio chart.
”Flowers” har rekord som den låt som snabbast streamats 500 miljoner gånger på Spotify. Här i Sverige har Miley både toppat officiella singellistan samt Spotify Topp 50, låten har sålt platina och den ligger just nu #3 på svenska radiolistan. I UK har Miley nu rekordet som den kvinnliga soloartist som toppat singellistan flest veckor i rad.
Miley om sitt nya album:
“When it comes to the sequencing of Endless Summer Vacation, I divided it by two parts: AM and PM – to kind of represent almost like an act. The AM to me is representing the morning time, where there is a buzz and an energy and a there’s potential of new possibilities. It’s a new day. And in the nighttime, it feels like there is a slinky, seediness and kind of a grime, but a glamour at the same time. In the evening, it’s a great time for rest, a time to recover – or it’s a time to go out and experience the wild side. Los Angeles, there is a certain energy to the night that you can kind of feel trouble boil up to the surface, and it is very inspiring to me.”
Albumet är inspelat i Los Angeles och är producerat av WiLL Made-It, Greg Kurstin och Grammy Award-vinnaren (Album of the Year) Kid Harpoon och Tyler Johnson. Miley beskriver albumet som sitt kärleksbrev till Los Angeles.
